The digital ecosystem for pet owners
Community, AI health checks, vet clinics and a marketplace. Everything your pet's life needs — finally in one place.
Example interface. The app is in development.
Five apps, five accounts, none of them talk
Caring for a pet today means hopping between WhatsApp, a booking site, a PDF buried in your inbox and three separate online shops.
Today
- The medical record lives in loose paper and PDF files
- Booking a visit takes three calls and a slot that never fits
- Questions get answered in forums, with no context about your pet
- You buy the same things every month, in five different places
- Nobody reminds you about the next vaccine or deworming
With Patapa
- One digital record — yours, always at hand
- Book in two taps and share the record instantly
- AI guidance plus a community that knows your breed and your neighbourhood
- The regular orders arrive on their own, matched to your pet
- Automatic reminders for everything that's due
Everything your pet needs, connected
Four solutions that exist separately in the market today, brought together into a single daily habit.
Social network and communities
A profile for your pet, not just for you. Join breed and city communities, discover pet-friendly places nearby, organise walks and meetups, and get alerts when a pet goes missing in your area.
AI-assisted prevention, ready for your vet
Upload lab results and symptoms and get a preliminary reading, organised into a digital medical record. It is guidance to prepare the appointment with your vet, never a diagnosis.
Vet clinic integration
Book appointments online, share the medical record instantly, and access telehealth with partner clinics. No more paperwork lost between visits.
Your repeat orders, sorted
Food, accessories and health products — including subscription boxes for whatever repeats every month, curated to your pet's actual profile.
Three steps and you're set
No starting from scratch, no endless forms. You start with what you already have.
Create the profile
Name, species, breed and age. In a minute your pet has its own space and its record starts building.
Upload what you already have
Vaccination card, lab results, reports. Patapa sorts them, summarises them and flags what to raise with your vet.
Live the day to day
Meetups, reminders, appointments and recurring orders. All from the same app, without switching.
A fragmented market, one platform
Spain's pet economy is large and growing fast — but every strong player covers only one piece. Patapa is designed to cover all four pillars.
The edge isn't a feature, it's the combination
Strong, focused players already exist in each pillar — but none combine community, health, clinics and commerce into a single daily habit. That combination is Patapa's edge, and what makes it defensible: the more you use the app, the more valuable your record inside it becomes.

The questions we get most
We're preparing early access. Everyone on the waitlist gets in first, and using it during the beta is free.
No, and we don't want it to. The AI assessment is preliminary guidance so you arrive at the consult with the right questions. The diagnosis is always made by a licensed vet.
It's stored encrypted on servers in the European Union, in line with the GDPR. You decide which records you share with each clinic, and you can revoke that access at any time.
The profile, the community and the medical record are free. There will be an optional subscription for advanced AI and telehealth features, with pricing published before launch.
Yes. Patapa is designed for dogs and cats from day one, with other companion species planned later.
We're opening a pilot programme for clinics in Spain — we're starting in Tarragona, but write to hello@patapa.es anyway and we'll walk you through it.
The iPhone app arrives in 2026 and the Android version in the first quarter of 2027. The waitlist and contact already work from any browser.
Sergei Shestakov
Sergei shares a home with two Ragdolls of firm opinions: Mishka, who lives with kidney disease, and Gatto De Pelucherio, a kitten still figuring everything out. Between them, lab results, doses and reminders have become as ordinary a part of the day as dinner time.
Patapa began as a household workaround: keep every report and every dose in one place, so you never hunt for a PDF in the middle of an appointment. The workaround turned into a product. Sergei builds it from Tarragona with engineers, vets and pet owners who shape it as it goes, plus two feline supervisors who sleep on the keyboard.
